Shelley's story

I've spent nearly thirty years in business.

Not reading about it - in it.

Running a winery. Building startups. Leading teams through change. Watching businesses in regional communities find their feet and, sometimes, lose them.

What I kept seeing was the same pattern. Business owners who were working incredibly hard - often harder than anyone around them - but working without a framework. Without a structure to run their business from, rather than just reacting to it.

They had passion. They had skills. What they often lacked was clarity.

Your Business Compass is my answer to that pattern. It's a six-area framework built from what I've actually seen work — across wine, retail, services, regional and rural businesses, community organisations and everything in between.

Not generic advice. Not what works in a capital city for a growth-stage startup. What works for the kinds of businesses I've spent my career alongside.
